Silverton Yachts, founded in the late 1960s in New Jersey, established a reputation for building comfortable, spacious, and affordable mid-size cruisers, convertibles, and motor yachts.  Known for maximizing interior space and offering great value, they were popular choices for families, couples, and those looking for liveaboard comfort.  Silverton aimed to provide maximum living space, often featuring large, open salons, panoramic windows, and comfortable, well-appointed cabins.  One of their most popular and successful models was the 43 Motor Yacht.

The Silverton 43 Motor Yacht, produced roughly from 2001 to 2007, is widely considered one of the company's best, most successful, and iconic designs.  It is frequently highlighted for maximizing interior volume and livability, making it a standout in its class for liveaboards and family cruisers.  It boasts a cavernous interior, with a full-beam salon and high ceilings, making it feel much larger than 43 feet.  The aft deck typically features a hardtop with a wet bar, ice maker, and a molded staircase for easy access to the swim platform, enhancing outdoor living.  Instead of traditional, narrow side decks, the innovative SideWalk system uses molded steps from the flybridge to the bow, making movement safe and easy while increasing interior width.  And performance wise, it is built on a modified-V hull, offering a stable, dry ride, with most models powered by twin Volvo or Cummins diesels, providing a comfortable cruise.

This particular 43 MY is no exception, and is turn-key and ready to be enjoyed this summer!  Very well maintained and full of upgrades and added features, she is sure to cover all the needs for a weekender getaway vessel, a liveaboard, or even a looper boat.  Plenty of room for entertaining, both inside and out.  Sleeps 6 very comfortably with the ability to host even more.  Two private staterooms and two heads with separate shower stalls, along with a full galley and spacious salon make up the interior space.  There are also (3) brand new Webasto air conditioning units (multi-zoned) to keep you nice and cool on those hot summer days.  Once outside, you will find your beautiful covered and fully enclosed aft deck to be used as prime entertainment space.  Venture up to the large flybridge, also fully enclosed, where there is even more seating for guests, as well as the helm and controls.  You can even sunbathe or lounge out on the bow sunpads!  The exterior space is protected by brand new SeaDek flooring.  On the stern you will find a Freedom Lift for your tender or dingy storage.  This gorgeous and well appointed yacht is powered by the wildly popular and highly sought after TAMD 75 diesels, easily controlled and maneuvered by Yacht Controller.  The less than 2 year old Yacht Controller has a bow thruster as well as a simulated stern thruster via joystick control.  You will look like an absolute pro around the docks.  Yacht Controller is still under warranty and has all receipts from installation.  The engines and house effortlessly power right up as well, thanks to brand new batteries throughout the entire vessel.  316 stainless mixing elbows have been upgraded on both turbos and both turbos have been inspected.  And on top of all of this, she has already had her 1000 hour service completed…the right way!  Engines were pulled and tank dunked, and then put back together with every new o-ring available through Volvo and the professional service marine shop that did the work.  New coolant was added, valves were adjusted, after coolers, heat exchangers, and transmissions were all inspected and serviced as needed.  Finally, both engines were pressure tested before getting re-installed.  She runs like a top and is ready for her next adventure…don't let this one get away!
