Ranger Tugs builds the R27 as a trailerable coastal cruiser with classic tug styling, shallow draft capability, and efficient diesel propulsion.
The Ranger R27 features a shallow-draft hull with high bow freeboard and an 8'6" beam. Inside, the forward V-berth sleeps two, and the amidships office with desk/chair converts to an additional berth. The compact galley to starboard includes sink, refrigerator (with freezer section), inverter, microwave, and a propane stove/oven, while a stand-up head/shower sits aft of the galley by the salon entry door. Notable highlights include bow and stern thrusters, teak-and-holly cabin sole, transom door, trim tabs, and a swim platform with rails.
This 2013 Ranger Tug R27 is powered by a single 180HP Yanmar diesel with only 650 hours. Well-equipped for comfortable cruising, she features touchscreen Garmin navigation, bow and stern thrusters, trim tabs, solar support, and a strong onboard systems package including inverter/charging. Deck gear includes a Lewmar power windlass (2023) with Rocna anchor, 50' chain, and 200' rode, plus a fully enclosed custom cockpit with Sunbrella bimini/top and side screens (2024 by Genco).
A tandem-axle aluminum trailer is also included with the package.
